Another iconic project for the Orlando Airport is nearing it’s completion. Acurlite Structural Skylights was proud to team with @henselphelps for yet another exciting and monumental airport project. The $1.8-billion Airside Terminal project includes a world-class terminal building, ticketing, security, and 16 gates. The terminal’s boulevard features an innovative 20,000+ SF. skylight that diffuses natural light throughout the space. The oversized, large span skylight with multiple slopes and a variety of different glazing make-ups that incorporate multiple custom frit patterns illuminate the space. For an open-air design and feel, that will provide the occupants of the space the comfort and protection from mother nature and the harsh Florida sun.
